Based upon my "single gunshot. Wav" sfx, this experiments a bit with the effects of stereo audio. I made the sound quite punchy also. Created with audacity. Use however you see fit.
A single, meaty gunshot created by editing my "single gunshot 4" sfx. I think this one sounds and feels a lot better. Created with audacity. Use however you see fit.
Cocking the hammer on a spencer rifle. It was an italian knock-off of an original. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).
An improved version of my "single gunshot 4. 2" sfx; this one isn't too meaty or filled with irritating reverb as this one, which i believe is also slightly more realistic. Created with audacity. Use however you see fit.
This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.
A possibly useful sound effect for a futuristic laser rifle. I combined the sounds of a desert eagle, sharp explosion, laser and a power down effect to create this sound. Enjoy! this is my first upload here.
Cycling the bolt on a mosin nagant rfile. The audio is very generic and could be used for any bolt action rifle. Recorded on a blue yeti microphone through audacity at 16bit 44000hz. Attribution appreciated but not required.
7 total gunshots from a distance with long echo trail. This was my neighbor shooting at his pond so there are ambient noises of bugs and birds in the background but the shots are nice and clear if you need them.
Field recording of an m1 garand magazine ejection. This sound was recorded at on target in kalamazoo, mi. No credit is required to be given when using this sound. However, i'd be happy to know where these sounds are being used and what projects the community is working on!.
A rifle cocking sound created by cocking a nerf gun, and slowing it down a bit. Edited with audacity. Credit would be appreciated, but it's not required!.
Single shot from an m-1 carbine,. 30 caliber rifle as used in world war ii, the korean conflict, and vietnam. Manufactured by winchester. Fired in semi-rocky wooded area over small stream.
