A retro "fire the projectile" sound in an old-school 8-bit video game. Sounds like it should be on an enemy instead of the main player since it's quite dark and hollow. Generated with a periodic 1-bit noise pattern.

A group of 8 troops went into battle and came across an unknown terrifying enemy,with all their might they attempt to defend themselves.

I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

I downloaded this, cut it down, made lots of improvements - and finally remastered this. I could've made lots of more changes, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. Made this in bitwig, i used 17 different layers to make this. A kick drum is added before the gunshot to add punch. Sub bass is synthesized for the deep lowend, 30-50hz. All layers were selected for certain frequencies using eq and then processed together with multiband compression. Shell sounds, mechanical noises were added for more depth. Using automation, the pitch, decay, and phase of every single layer used other than the subbass, morph to give life to the sound loop, and not sound robotic. Even though it "might" sound real, its an illusion of sounds being played from a midi clip. Enjoy.

I was out recording some sounds late one evening, and i randomly heard this, which i can assume is a gunshot. Not much processing was done to this sound, except some noise removal and pitch shift.
