Gulping, drinking water, i think i was holding the sound recorder to my throat. The sound was recorded in my house in florida, using a sony ic recorder, processed in fl studio to remove noise.

I was recording dialogue in my sound booth when i got the hiccups. These are recorded with a large condenser microphone (neumann u87 equivalent).

Large river rapids running strongly after winter rain. Recorded approximately fifty feet above water level. The river flows and turns through a narrow, high, partly exposed bedrock canyon which likely amplifies the sound of the rapids. The first nine seconds are unedited. The last two seconds have a fade out applied. In summer you can walk where the centre channel is in winter, so this is a lot of water moving swiftly down the cowichan river to the salish sea. I needed a sound of someone swallowing nervously, and i couldn't find one that worked, so i recorded my own. It's not perfect as it was recorded just with my crappy headset, but it did the job. Hope someone else can find some use for it! :).
