Made from a tom drum i created with xfer serum in reaper. Rendered the instrument as audio, then, sampled a small section of the tom and looped it infinitely to create a static frequency. Then i added the reapitch vst and created a smooth automation curve down to -24 semitones. Lastly, i added a short fade in and long fade out.

Made with mashing a few samples together. Realistically, it should sound like a metal can hitting the ground. But i used it for throwing a can at the ground (before impact), which works too. Please comment where you used it! <3.

Stomping on a big cement ground as hard a possible with a contact mic attached to the ground. The contact mic provides lots of bass so you can use this for punches, kicks, impacts, anything that can use a sweeter for impacts. I handmade my contact mic and recorded that into a h5. This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by filtering or timestretching the files.
