Sounds like a power on sound. Made from a beep with a sine waveform (the hz of which increases), and bitcrushing it at 4 bits per sample and a sample rate of 40khz.

I made this sound on beepbox. Co right after i rode a mississauga transit (miway) nova bus lfs serving route 48 north. The nova bus lfs is a 40-foot transit bus made by nova bus manufacturer. Miway ordered several of these buses to replace the new flyer d60lfr and el dorado ez-rider buses.
My old rebuilt cj5 warming up and driving away. If you amplify the tail end you can hear thejeep faraway amidst the recorder noise. Recorded in mountain view ca with a zoom h2h recorder. Amplified, and noise reduced with audacity.

Here's a pretty lengthy recording of the bus i (currently) take home from school each day. (i'll hopefully be driving there as soon as i get my license. ) listen closely for ambient creaking, kids chit-chatting, and mild footsteps as the bus makes two stops (on this recording) on certain stops.
