Thought this would make the perfect, very unique style to use drums as filler background music during a very important statement or speech. This track is a little over two minutes long and has just enough soft beats to not distract the listener to what is being said. This was recorded using a yamaha keyboards guitarpop style drum rhythm, audacity & a little improvisation. I must admit. . . I like what i hear and i think - so will you!. No acknowledgement to me is necessary but maybe a shout-out to yamaha would seem in order.

Kicking various parts of an old door made of wood and metal. The door is part of the ruins of a century-old iron foundry. The recording included background noise from a nearby stream.

Just a few hand claps i layered, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I use this sample in my own songs all the time. A metal spoon bouncing ever so slightly on a porcelain bowl the way a drumstick hits a snare. I thought the hit had a nice inflection to it and could be used for some strange percussion break.

This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. As sounds played back their pitch and sample rate changed depending on the amplitude of the sound. . . Pretty cool effect i figured. . . "man i gotta record that and use it!" so here it is!.

This is a synthesized hi-hat groove. It is basically an on two layers sequenced noise-patch. One layer to create the "closed hat" effect and another one to create the "open hat" effect.
