I´ve found a more than 2 meters high and wide bronze artwork hanging upright. It has several blocks on its surface, looking just like a upright hanging town. On 5 of the "houses" i played a rhythm, using rather hard drumsticks für kettledrums. Recorded with zoom h4n with 2 schoeps ccm4 mics.
Recorded on a laptop microphone, using my own hand claps, layered many times and manipulated in audacity, for a song. Surprisingly good result. Enjoy :).
Hemos saltado sobre un trozo de madera y hemos grabado el sonido(recording done by students of ies baldiri (el prat de llobregat - barcelona) during the workshops of field recording at different urban spaces of the city. Recording device: zoom h1).
An old hollowbody-style acoustic guitar is sampled here as more of a percussive instrument. The strings are muted and strummed a few times as well. Uploaded by sean a.
Here's a heap of snapshot samples of the synare 3, a vintage analog drum synth circa 1980. They were recorded through an avalon u5 and mackie mixer, and are completely dry. Theres percussion and alot of synth type sounds.
There are two recordings for each snare hit referenced in the numbered filenames. Adjustment of the sample start point may be necessary when layering these, accounting for any phase mis-alignments. [the full sample pack is being uploaded gradually. ]. .
Bruit de percussion étiré parespace de copie. D'ailleurs, if anyone wants the original sample, i'll upload it, its of me walking around in my garage, and closing a metal trash can. Just tell me if you want me to upload it.

Sampled from custom-made 13. 5 inch hihat cymbals created by master cymbal smith mike skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick tap on the bow of the closed cymbals using the tip of the stick.
Used a micro-cassette recorder to record bells from the naxi village in yunan, china. I'm swinging them around, which gives the recording a flange-like warble sound, exaggerated by the tape recorder.
