My voice, three "moans" slowed down/pitch changed with reverb added to sound like a humpback whale. Might need to use noise reduction for the popping/clicking when you use it. I made this because icouldn't find a good clear whale song.

Fireworks- recording fireworks is really strange. There are two distinct things going on with fireworks- the sound of the explosion, and the powerful physical impact our bodies feel when all that sound energy reaches us. Thing is, the mics don’t have any way of capturing that physical impact; they can only record the pop sound of the initial explosion. So what ends up on tape? honestly, it doesn’t sound much different than popping popcorn in your kitchen. Even with my good mics, i think i had to boost the low end a little bit in this recording to make it actually sound more like fireworks than popcorn. But judge for yourself. This is a foley fireplace. Recorded with the blue snowball ice in audacity. I layered the sounds together using audacity. This recording consists of two tracks of a smarties candy wrapper (for the crackling), one track of sticky-tac being pulled apart (the popping), and one track of jeans being rubbed together for some extra sound. Enjoy!.

I designed this sound from scratch using a 20 millisecond pop of audio looped and processed heavily using ableton live's sampler instrument. The loop is 2 bars long, but it this sample file i trail off for quite a few seconds sustaining the note to show off the sustain processing on the synth.

I used this sound set for the sound design on a 2d animated technology explainer video. These sounds are textural and real, which gives a nice contrast to slick graphics. Use these for text and thought bubbles, scene transitions, objects being built etc. Enjoy!.

Pills being taken out of a metal wrapper: a very distinct metallic sound can be heard. It is sharp and high-pitched. You can hear a pop when the pill is being taking out of it's housing. Great to create tension in a scene. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

I create my own original sound effects using audacity and my own equipment and ocassionally a garden gnome or two.

These will go well with any electronic or rap sound, or layered with acoustic drums for pop-rock or indie music.
