A rare capture of rock hyrax (procavia capensis) calling their females at summertime while in heat. Recorded at 4am in the mid of august 2009. Micrphones used: a couple of large diaphragm akg perception 420 condensers in omni mode.
I created this sound by taking two large cobblestone blocks and hit one against the other. Good for sound design. There is a little rattle on some of the heavier hits, it couldn't be helped since the block is so heavy.
Heavy distortion with some ample amount of delay. The very beginning is rather moody and trippy, then it kicks in for a slow arena rock style guitar solo, then some random notes for the ending.
Heavy reverb and delay effects, low gain guitar. To the point type of licks but then some moody chords to finish it out. Probably best served up in smaller sections.

A little thing i came up with while doing some research on how j macis writes music. Found out he puts a capo on the second fret and by doing that this japanese pop chord progression i learned by watching a video marty friedman did on japanese style guitar improv was sounding a lot better than without one.
