This is the sound of me rubbing a hairbrushes bristles. Recorded in a very dry room with a mid-sides mic setup. Mics used were akg 414, and an oktava mk-012-01 pencil condenser.

This was created in pro tools using only the signal generator, and native mixer plugins e. G. Eq, delay etc.

Me and a mate just er, decided to smash 2 cheap guitars to bits, something to do at the time.

This sound was recorded december 11, 2013, using an alesis qs8, a roland 550w keyboard amp, the dm1 app for the ipad 2, an m-audio preamp, and multitrack recording software: sonar 6 studio.

When hip_hop was real and rough. 2created in reason. . . . . . . . . . Bass. . . . . . . And beat.

My drum loops created in pro tools from the winston's "amen brother" break. These are just tests, although they do loop quite nice if you line them up right. . . . . I created this sound to mimic the rustle of a moving special force soldier's uniform. I used a baby carrier made of a rough fabric and just moved it in my hands.

A piezo, hot glued inside a biscuit tin and tied onto a kite's string with a carabiner.
