Recording of a door being opened and closed, and then opened and closed again. Very slight footsteps (on carpet) can be heard. The microphone (sennheiser mkh-50) was intentionally placed about 5 feet away from the door and aimed slightly off-axis so as to capture more of the natural room sound/reverb. I have another recording available of the exact same door and mic setup, but aimed on-axis for a more direct recording (it still has a slight bit of room sound - that was what i wanted for these two recordings). Recorded into a tascam 208i audio interface and into adobe audition. Very minor processing (low-cut at 80hz to remove low-freq rumble).

This is the sound of a hair dryer. Recorded with a sony pcm-d100 in stereo.

Tags must contain only letters a-z, digits 0-9 and hyphen. Recorded this when i was about to take a shower. Recorded using macbook pro microphone at 195,000 hz, then rendered with a filter curve applied at 75 hz at 16-bit stereo, 64050 hz wav file. This can be looped every 100 seconds!.

Recorded inside a home freezer. At 35 secs the sounds of cracking open or unwrapping something frozen begin. The freezer hum is very audible throughout. Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. Ambience of a echoey open space shared between a few small stores.

Pouring leftovers (ravioli) mixed with water into the toilet to achieve a vomit effect. When added with retching noises it sounds very believable. Apologies about me giving direction in the beginning.

Remainder of the water drained through a plug hole of a sink, close mic, no ambience.

Recorded with an mxl condenser mic placed at some distance from a plastic clock. It give a bit more realism because there is some acoustics from the room.
