I'm a student studying sound and i and recording sounds this is one of the recordings. This was recorded at night as the curtains were opening and closing near the microphone.
Curtains being opened and closed. A loud, scratching sound from curtains moving on their rails. Recorded with a zoom h6 and stereo microphone (rode ntg2).
Starting to rain on macpac olympus tent by the shore of lake king william, tasmania, 27 feb 2014, 9. 19am. Recorded from inside the tent on a marantz pmd 661 using a rode nt55.
Sounds a little like fireworks going off. Recorded on my phone inside a tent pitched under a tree, the heavy raindrops sound a bit like firecrackers or pops of musket fire?.
Quickly opening and closing curtains. Recorded with zoom h6 recorder and rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. Cleaned with reaper. Feel free to leave a link to the project that you used this sound in. Would love to see and hear how you used the sound. :).
Microphone inside an old fabric tent with wooden tent pegs. Vibrations under the desert wind. Palmyre, syria, 2007. Recorded with stereo xy audiotechnica at822 microphonerecorded on tascam dap148 khz, 16 bits.
Some tent construction sounds, there is a strange tone to some of this but that is just the strange acoustics of the inside of a tent. Used here originally: https://soundcloud. Com/evil-ear/sets/oregon. Enjoy. Evil ear.
This is the sound of a jacket zipper going up and down at various speeds. While it is from a jacket, it does sound also like the zipper from a tent as well. This was recorded with an akg c-214 condenser microphone in my home studio.
I recorded this with my yamaha pocketrak at the paramount theater in seattle on feb. 29th, 2016 with one track duplication. This is the applause for stewart copeland and the seattle rock orchestra. Copeland scored the music for the silent version of 'ben hur' and the show was great as you can hear from the final applause. You can hear my friend brian at the end asking for some coffee. :^) please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks.
Zipping open and closed at various speeds. Recorded with a rigid tripod bag, with the intended purpose of voicing a tent being zipped up and down. Raw audio, unprocessed.
