This is the ride in a mercedes e320 through a town and on to a highway. The quality is a little poor, because this sound is taken with my old minidisc-recorder. The mercedes is built in 2000.
Some noise made to sound like the noise generators used in analog drum synthesizers for things like cymbals. Made with helm, 4 comb filters, and a high-pass filter. Helm to generate square wave dissonance, comb filters to add stereo and more "structured noise" quality, and high pass filter to hide the lower overtones.
Another composition of elevator sounds, this time more modern than last. 0,00 - 0,65: button0,65 - 11,50: door close11,50 - 52,90: ride (+ chime at the end)52,90 - 58,55: door open.
A ride/cymbal sound made with sunvox. It's a sampled noise impulse with a certain starting phase sent through a bandpass and then a reverb with a low room size, which acts as a resonator. It then goes through another filter and reverb set, then a compressor.
