You her the hammering onto the nail that is holding the string. The more melody-like moments are when the other one is cleaning the keyboard with a towel. Nice reverb. This is a background sound i've created designed to imitate the noise produced by a vast collection of typewriters being worked on in a large warehouse environment. All the noises within in have been taken from freesound. There are 8 different typewriters here. On some channels i stuck a lo pass and some big room reverb, and on others i added a little compression to bring them to the forefront. The whole had a hard limiter to -6 on the top.

I took my snare drum into the wonderfully echoey parking garage of my building to record the reverb. Included are samples recorded from varying distances and positions. Also included are dry versions, recorded in a living room and a super-dry elevator. When used in a production, try mixing in the heavily reverbed snares against the dry ones to fit your taste. Also the reverb snares work well mixed under even unrelated percussions to add a neat ambiance. The same goes for my "stairwell foot stomps" sample set. Recorded 24-bit stereo with a sony pcm-d50. Assisted by matt mcgowin.

I made this from gowers' 140bpm processed drum loop to make this.

This is a recording of an office refrigerator in a room with fluorescent lights. It was recorded with a sennheiser me66 and a tascam dr-60d.

I recorded it with a samsung ace3 and then put it through the cubase 5 with some high and low cuts in the eq from cubase and with a litle gate.

The freezer/refrigerator door opens and we hear its indoor room tone and then it shuts.
