909 kick with massive distortion and eqíng. Used the eks-9 vst plugin to emulate a 909 kick drum. Placed a huge load of different distortion plugins on different spores, to create a heavy distorted sound. In between those distortion plugins i used several eq's to manipulate the sound. Recorded 17. Nth of june 2007 at oscarsborg fortress in norway. Memorial of oberst birger eriksen who was in charge of the resistance at oscarsborg against the german invasion 9. Nth april 1939. Recorded with canon hv10 camcorder. No soundeffects added. Nice echo in the open fortress yard. First some speech, then single drummer and single trumpet.

This is a toyota supra on a chassis dyno being revved to the max. It has a turbo on it and you can hear it whining. It gets extremely loud to the point of distortion, but it will be a great sound for somebody who needs an engine rev without the vehicle passing by.

This is the same sound i recorded 6 years ago, back than i had just a very crappy microphone through my cellphone. Last year i bought an ipad, and i installed hokusai audio editor. This gave me a better way to record in higher quality. Still mono though, but it has less audio artifacts. This alarm is tested once every 3 months all over the swedish towns.

Two sustained voice samples i subsequently pitch shifted and layered for an ambient work (to achieve an 80's choir pad effect). The key is almost in middle c, but slightly off. . . Because i can't sing. The second, lower voice sample was recorded extremely close to the mic to achieve clipping; i wanted to get a buzzy, boomy sound out of it.
