The song was written by an imprisoned member of the People's Mujahedin of Iran, inspired by assassination of the US Army Lieutenant colonel w:Lewis Lee Hawkins by the organisation. No one is credited in this album.

The first three, and final verses of Through the Years. Originally "Tyle Lat" and later translated into English. Written c. 1920 by Francis Hodur, and translated in 1921 by the Fourth Synod of the PNCC.
