It was time to mow the lawn, and it was a beautiful day for mowing. 80 degrees and sunny. Not much breeze at all. For the production: i took the zoom h1 out and set it by the porch about 2 feet up off the ground. Recorded at 96k 24bit. The low cut and agc were disabled. Once recorded, i finished it off with a small amount of airwindows "air" with the 22k tap opened all the way up. For the mower: i used a 21 inch 140 cc "550ex" series briggs & stratton gas walk behind push mower. When i finished mowing my yard, i approached the recorder up to about 2 feet, then i cut the engine. I start it again and let it idle in close proximity for about 8 seconds, still at a distance of about 2 feet, then cut the engine one last time. I'm sure this could potentially come in handy for those outdoor scenes where you could use some distant neighborhood activity or a close-up start/stop. Enjoy!.

A haymaking course was done for the 25th time at ryghsetra near the town of drammen in norway. On saturday everyone could stay for a few hours, listening to two female performers singing and playing fiddle and banjo, watching a group of people mowing a meadow at the same time and socializing. I used a zoom h6 with a sennheiser microphone and i edited the recordings by means of hindenburg journalist.

My neighbor mows a cul-de-sac with a riding lawn mower for about 2 minutes and drives away. As the mower drives away a car honks and some distant shouting can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro placed on the windowsill facing the cul-de-sac.

When i was walking around today to catch sounds, i met a man who was mowing his lawn. I asked him if i could record him while he was mowing his lawn. He agreed and i was allowed to record him mowing. It's a viking electric lawnmower. Description: a man mows the lawn with an electric lawnmower. He drives the lawn mower over a piece of path to the meadow, mows and drives the lawn mower back. At the beginning of the recording, there is a short question asked if he should start now, which i confirm. The recording is unedited. Recording device: zoom h5microphone: xyh-5date: 31 july 2020place: schwanewede, northern germanytime: afternoon, about 4 pm. Weather: 25 °c, sunshine. Hardly any clouds in the sky.
