I needed the sound of a domed lid being lifted off a dinner platter. I looked here but didn't see what i needed so i broke out the zoom h2n and recorded my own (i keep forgetting that i have that). Hope you can use it.

Stopping the engine of an old bubbly sounding scooter.

A noisy fan in a old hotel bathroom, comes on when you hit the light switch. A recording of it starting and stopping a few times, could be good for some kind of engine.

I opened a box, went through the cassette tapes, took one out, took the tape out of the plastic box, inserted it in the cassette player, pressed play, then pressed stop. Mono recording.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Sorry if there’s some talking in the background, i was siting next to my aunt’s little foster child at the time and he was enjoying himself quite a bit. Diboz throws a piano at his annoyingly ticking watch, which is ruining his sense of timing. Created in flstudio 11 with lightly tweaked flkeys, flreverb2, jangly (almost tubular bells) wasp xt layers and a pitch bent formant for a bit of spookiness. The ticking noise and deep notes were generated by fiddling with morphine's presets. Caution: look at the waveform. Don't turn up the wick. This piece starts quietly but there's a sudden, loud, jump scare.

This sound is a smooth square with a 400 hz frequency and the amplitude is 1. I added a 2 echo with 0,6 decline factor. There is a fade of closing down studio.

This is the sound of a small diesel vehicle slowing and almost stopping, before turning and driving slowly away. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder.
