A patch generating triggers not that random. . . The triggers are triggering an envelope generator and a sample and hold. The sample and hold cv is quantized following a minor 7th chord rules. Friday. Random. Why this madness? answer: i have patched s/h (sample and hold) random to doepfer a-160 clock divider and that affects the a-161. For the sake of it i patched one of the gates to the ladik r-110 rnd t/g (random trigger and gate). Result much more randomness than i can use. I can tell you that there is a lot of blinking diodes :-) sounds from doepfer a-110 and 2hp osc and sampler soundmachines ul1uloop.

A near chaotic experiment. Im mixing cycling envelopes and lfos to generate triggers. The four sounds are totally unrelated. > bass drum. > snare (or something. . . )> bass. The pitches for the bass are generated withthree mixed lfos. A trigger is generated from the quantizerwhen the cv changed enough to generate a new note inthe selected scale. > ear piercing and annoying sound. Three minutes of more than enough.
Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The triangle wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. Kind of metallic sound? interesting. The kind of patch only an owner to a modular synth findany interest in. Maybe a little more interesting then theprevious sound. . . This has an ambient feel. Modulating a full wave rectifier at audio rate. Fixed modulating frequency. 2. I mix my the output of my two osc and clockmy clock divider with that and take /2 to mixer. Reverb is space hole on my zoom ms-70cdr.

Okay i have to find the cycles. The start of a cycle is where the oscillator play in (about) unison. One cycle begins at 1:22. 82. Does it end at 1:57. 35?i might create a track called "selfie in three cycles". . .
1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.
