It's the sound of a subway train entering the station "frankfurter ring" in munich. It's a new type, modern subway train. You hear somebody walking towards a door pulling a trolley case. Doors open, announcement comes, doors close, train leaves.

I recorded more than 10 sounds while cooking food. I used one recording from inside a train and finally i recorded sounds on a bridge while cars were driving by. With these sounds, software, effects and ways i have discovered studying at sonic college denmark, i created these 3 sounds. An eastern-european musician playing guitar in a paris subway train. I was on my way to downtown paris when this guy started singing for money. I chose to record the scene because i thought this was a typical parisian soundscape, something parisian subway users experiment every day, and a real insight on how this city actually sounds. I happened to be sitting in one of these new line 5 trains. I think theyre audio footprint is much smoother than the old trains. . . Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.

Subways in nyc don't usually get quiet. Somehow i found myself on a quiet train from new york to new jersey, not one vocal, apart from the public service announcement. Lots of what you'd expect from a train ride: squealing, screeching, rocking, and i got lucky as many stops and starts. Taken at 44. 1, with the fire app on an iphone 4. Don't doubt those little guys.

A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.

This is an ambient sound effect traveling on the subway system in madrid at 11:30am, september 2019. The recording is on the platform, then boards, and exits the train; the train then departs and there is a period of platform ambience. Recorded with shure mv88 in mid-side, converted to stereo.

I think, this sound is good for spawning metallic or sharp objects in games. Maybe, falling of metallic barrel or some strange space rocks will be apropriate. Opening of spaceship doors seems good too.

The sound of me walking to my electric car in an underground parking lot, getting in, selecting "drive" and moving away. The stereo microphone was outside the vehicle, 10 metres away. Created for an upcoming film, this is the audio from a nightmare a character in the film has about the terrible 1966 aberfan, wales disaster. He sees himself in a hallway at pantglas school then hears the coal tip land slide coming, then sees it crash through a distant wall and come rushing at him. This was a very difficult piece of sound design to construct because of my emotions about the disaster and how the national coal board responded: 500 pounds sterling maximum to each grieving parent for each dead child, and with questions such as, "how close were you to your child?" if the answer was somehow not close enough for the panel, no money was awarded. The film scene will be handled with taste and respect, and no dead children will be depicted.

You will hear the first construction site that i walked by that has the circular sawing. Then i walked past it and sat down for the majority of the recording where you can hear the second construction site that is about a short-block away and that's where all the hammering is coming from. Boomerang is a steel shuttle roller coaster located at bellewaerde in ypres, west flanders, flemish region, belgium. Although it wasn't the first vekoma boomerang to be built, it was the first to be opened due to technical issues with the other roller coaster. This spectacular roller coaster takes you to a height of 32 m, before launching you forward and backward, like a boomerang, at over 80 km/h. There is a lot of nonsense in this file. Some belgian teenagers are talking about their families, their teachers, to fall out of the coaster, banana, carrot. . . You can even hear some flemish words. Recorded inside the roller coaster with tascam dr-100mkii onboard microphones.
