The ssgs is situated in the salton trough in southern california, an area with abundant surface manifestations of hydrothermal activity. The hydrothermal system in the salton trough occurs in a pull-apart setting where rifting and associated magmatic intrusions are responsible for the strong heat flow. One of the most concentrated and well-expressed onshore seep fields is the davis-schrimpf field, where more than 50 individual seeps are located in this area. Gas venting from gryphons and pools is vigorous with a continuous bubbling activity. Water and mud mixtures are continuously expelled down the flanks of the gryphons. Carbon dioxide produced from de-volatilization reactions involving sedimentary carbonate is the main driver for the seep activity. The morphological features of the davis- schrimpf seep field are strikingly similar to seep fields on dormant mud volcanoes however, the davis-schrimpf seeps are not related to mud volcanism, as mud volcanism normally implies large-scale mud breccia eruptions and a low temperature seep stage. In fact, this record i added is not a carefully watched record. It's an arrangement i made overnight. I did, though, because i thought the lovers would come out. It's a little nervous. Maybe a mysterious event can be used in a documentary or presentation. If you want to improve it i can make some effects and editing. Bon appetit :).

Original description: very low key, down-tuned bass sound with long sustain and release/tail. Sounds good in higher pitches too. Came from two highly tweaked tom and click sounds in flstudio's edison.

This file has a variety of bathroom sounds. There is a toilet flushing and then running, a hot tub (jacuzzi) running its water jets and then draining, and generic splashing. Echoes from sounds in a tiled environment are heard.

Two contact microphones recording an engine from a mini cooper s in sport mode. Surprisingly aggressive-sounding. Intended to use for a race car asset. Contact microphones are stethoscope-like mics that you place onto a surface to record vibrations. This way, i was able to record the raw engine without wind or perspective. The left channel is the chassis and the right is the engine block. . . Blending the two together produces a great sound. Free to use.
