I made. . . Something. If any of you are out there making harsh noise music. . This will be perfect for you.

I layered three different snare drum takes to achieve this one. All three of those takes are from a ludwig black beauty. I did a close, stereo overhead, and stereo room mic configuration. Originally recorded/used for an 80s cover song i've been working on. Sounded nice in the mix so i thought i'd throw it on here. -yellowtree.

I could've made lots of more changes, and made it even more dramatic, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. It was much about planning, knowing what sounds to use, and how to use the different sounds, timing, and creating anticipation and tension!. I recorded myself running my fingers across a metal radiator, and myself saying i see dead people. I then edited it on audacity.

Did some coughing and choking and heavy breathing for a horror short. Good for dying and probably could be used for zombie sounds.
