Shotgun pumping-sound, made by multible click noises i found through "freesound. Org". I then lined them up after eachother, pitched differently, to get a nice pumping feeling to it. It is edited through fl studio.

A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.

Dont ask why this is named like that lol, made using a lot of layers but the fundamental of the snare is synthesized, distorted the first miliseconds of the sample to make an snappy transient and make it cut throught the mix. For the process i used analog modelled plugins such as exciters, tube saturators, preamps, coloring eqs, and compressors alongside with some digital modelled plugins such as camelcrusher, transient shaper and sliceeq both by kilohearts, the compressor mjucjr ny klanghelm to amplify the waveform of the sample and finally a clipshifter plugin, which i love it, to limit the snare aggresively.

This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

Hollow, reverby snare with some low rumble, fizzly highs, and nudged-down frequency ranges. ("derezzed" because i cut down some resonance).

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). Recorded while hiking ten mile creek in hume, ca,on september 4th 2014 you can barely hear the man yell "pull" before the gunshots from far away. This sound was recorded on a hand held digital recorder and has not been edited at all.

Mascletà (rythmical composition of firecrackers blasts typical of valencia) recorded at 1000m distance from a roof-top terrace. The firecrackers blasts create a war-like ambience, with the sounds of the city mixed with the distant shots. Recorded with head-worn binaural soundman okm microphones. Some distortion due to the wind.
