Needed a rocking chair with a slight breeze and captured it with subtle children at play and a jet plane in background. Left it as a raw mp3 but you're welcome to edit any way you like.

Audio of an electrified commuter rail line in downtown charlotte, north carolina as is approaches the crossing. You can hear the horn in the distance, then the bells of the crossing gates as the begin to close, and then the train horns again before it passes by the crossing into the station.

An ambient, white noise wall of sound recorded as i walked through our well ventilated university print shop. You can hear a variety of machine noises that layer to create a constant hum, with a swelling rise and fall like occasional waves. Some of the vents whistle, some tick or click and purr. Near the very end, there is a single sharp click. The ventilation system is an anti-fume tube series used for printmaking. Recorded on a microtrack ii. A sample of my microwave oven's transformer starting up was paulstretched to roughly 30 seconds using audacity. Makes a really nice 50hz buzz sound. Input voltage was 240v 50hz ac, output is about 2400v (2. 4kv) ac. Recorded using an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone.

Note e. Atmospheric cinematic pad. I recorded the guitar, then processed a lot of reverb and added some synth sounds. You can put it in the sampler by setting the root note to e and you will have a complete instrument. I especially like to layer on it additionally the sounds of the waves that i put on my page before.

Accompanying synth sounds created in pure data and used in another piece but on soloing and playback i decided this was nice standalone and might be suitable for remixing so i put on freesound, partly as though i've uploaded a couple of pieces i've downloaded more than contributed so i wanted to with this piece or snippet of pieces.

A creepy slowed down, reversed, echoing phone being dialed made by me with audacity.

I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. I then just played two notes that didn't sound too dissonant, and then ran it through some low-fi processing.

An ambient pad in the key of c made in fl studio, using freeware vsts. I'm learning my way around the eq and mastering tools, this is also my first sample uploaded so i'd appreciate some feedback.

Free drone. Recorded using homemade contact microphones. The os-xx samples consist of different recordings of fans, fridges, espressomachines, etc. The sounds are pretty raw, i added reverb, and cut some sub. I can, on request hand out the raw recordings. Enjoy.
