That quarantine mood when you're locked in your house and then ask your housemate, "hey this might sound weird, but can i record you cooking? the sound makes me happy". I dont have a nice mic bc i had to pack up so fast but i have my at2020 which is better than nothing.

Bacon sizzling on a stove. Minimal pops and splatters, mostly a low, constant sizzle. 60hz band was cut due to fridge noise next to the pan. Recorded on a tascam dr-40x and edited in audition.

This may sound strange. The story about marie antoinette moved me. I was trying to imagine her waiting to be taken to the guillotine. The "out of time " sound in the background is supposed to be the seconds ticking away. Doesn't matter what you do. The time is coming. It is said that she thanked the hangman-.
