I was sitting in my car in the city centre of glasgow scotland waiting for a member of my family, so to pass the time i got out my little canon powershot a460 digital camera, wound down my window and recorded the sound of the heavy traffic driving past my car. The sound of the boom gates going down at a level crossing. A train arrives, stops at the other station, and departs with a blast from the horn. An announcement goes off in the distance. Then the boom gates go back down and a train, this time on the recorder's platform, arrives. The doors open and the train is boarded. This was recorded in australia.
