This is a 'helicopter' esque pass by created with my vocals, a tone generator and a guitar tremolo pedal. I think this could be best used as a layer. It really needs some background noise and potentially more engine noises to sound realistic. Use it as you like!.

A patch in the eventide dsp4000 kept bugging out on me and this was the result. I couldn't be mad about the glitch because it sounded so cool when it did it's thing. I was just lucky enough to capture it.

Sparrows flying from branch to branch in a bare rose bush. Unintentional capture of sound as i was just out walking testing new equipment. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. This was my first attempt at recording ambiance. There's some pops from the microphone, but i thought some parts could be still usable. Recording at 44. 1 khz/ 16 bits. No process applied.

UFO Landing alien spacecraft lands

The starting up procedure of an small ufo.

The soundscape at the bottom of the dried moat of arundel castle in late spring. There's a strong breeze running through the trees, crows calling, an aeroplane, a couple of flies buzz past. I was laying in the sunshine about 10 meters away, falling asleep :). Sound devices mixpre3 and rode svmx, bit of low cut applied (60hz, 12db/oct) and a small amount of higher frequency boost to compensate for the wind cut i had fitted.

I made this for a futuristic starship engine backdrop noise.
