To create this sound i stabbed an apple with a pair of scissors in my bedroom to replicate the sound of someone being stabbed. To record i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone and my audiobox interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 16 bit.

Synthetic sound "pluck" of 00:10 seconds. I wanted different ambiences and variations in a short time, a sound which says: "something will happen next", like with horror movies. This is a recording of a manic, non-melodic whistle processed with convolution reverb. Good for scary themes, like when the killer is approaching.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Oh my god when this scream came out of my mouth, i started laughing hysterically, like i couldn't believe that came from me. Pretty useful though, huh?.

Recorded 5/20/11 at 10:43am on a bright sunny day in washington. Many crows were flying overhead and i recorded them on my ipod. The sounds in the background is not wind (although it sounds like it), but are cars slowly driving by about 100 yards away. The crows were directly above.
