My dog "greeting" guests at my front door. Cc0/public domain. No credit required! (if you want to give credit, it goes to annie the german shepherd!). Recorded on a pixel 3 phone and cleaned up in audacity.
A herd of goats walks through a village. We can also hear cows, dogs and pigs. The herd returns after a day of grazing. Recorded with shotgun deity s2, and 2 omnidirectional mics, 48/24 with a zoom f8n. Site: northern mexico.
A shepherd with rough voice is leading a flock of sheep. Faraway. Many bells, some discreet birds. A dog, traffic. France, summer 2009. Recorded with schoeps ab ortf, recorded on sounddevice 744tstereo wave, 16 bits, 48khz.
Large dog barking downstairs while i was trying to record. Well suited for sound design of a large dog barking in another room/on another floor. Mic- neumann tlm 102.
Unfortunately this dog isn't with us anymore so i've tried again to clean up this bit of her out on the porch at night. It was recorded with an old blackberry playbook, which also isn't with us anymore. I think this version might be more useful.
If i try to run past this dog's protected yard, he'll come right out onto the road and attack. I've had to mace him twice already. If i walk past and display my mace, he'll let me pass, but he always does this. I'd rather mace the owner, but i can't get him to come out on the road. . .
I recorded the sound of my dog's collar using a zoom h4n recorder and a rode m3 microphone. This would be a good sound used in the background in an outdoor scene. I can imagine this recorded noise starting off soft and gradually getting louder to indicate a dog walking by before it softens up and gradually trails off as the dog gets further and further away.
