Recording of some new year's celebrations in vienna. Captured using a clippy stereo em172 microphone and a zoom h5 handheld recorder. I positioned the microphone capsules outside the window on the left and right and then gently (almost) closed it. I setup the recorder and rolled the whole evening. This sound was recorded on a shoot i was on in march, before lock-down. I found when mixing the film that if you apply a cut around the upper-mid range of an eq that you remove a lot of the pressure heard from the exertion of the cork and it sounds more like a bottle cap opening but that's up to you. I'll upload my version of the edited sound as an example.

I may have mentioned that his speaking voice wasn't always low. In this capture he's completely excited and happy and this is probably, his real voice. This went on for a while, but there was a lot of profanity and laughter and we don't wanna be disrespectful. Ha. I don't, anyway. I don't think he liked her much.
