A recording of an attempt tocreate the sound of an explosion using several clicks, modified with accoustic mirror using an audio sample of a preast reading the latin prayer 'pater noster', heavily flanged, reversed, flanged again, then crossfaded into a perfect loop?yes. So. . . Fanblades. Useful? you decide.

This is a sound of a spinning cd disk, opening and closing the cd drive. In the background there is a slight noise from the spinning hard disk of the computer. Recorded with my smartphone, the xiaomi redmi note 10.

I was putting together a new under-bed storage crate and noticed the wheels made this awesome sound, almost like a laser gun or something. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). Elmo omnigraphic 253af slide projector, similar to a kodak s-av 2000. Turn on, slide change at 10 second intervals, turn off. Recorded on a marantz pmd 661 with a rode nt4, 250 mm above centre rear of projector, angled down at 45º. I needed this sound as part of an audio-visual that mimics a slide show. I chose to record a 10-second change interval (instead of a shorter interval) because that allows me to razor the waveform between changes, and then extend (or reduce) the time between changes. Too short a time interval between slide changes means you'd have to add motor/fan sound between every change.
