Bird park: here the most prominent sounds are those of birds flying around. You can hear how wind is being pushed around by wings and of course the happy chatter between birds. There are numerous different birds that can be heard that make for an interesting ambience. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

A toy bought for our golden retriever. It's a plush with a closed ball inside it. Inside the ball there is a speaker and a spinning motor that which makes the toy bounce. The motor being noisy, i locked it for the recording. Recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.

Recorded on a zoom h4n in stereo. The lions were fairly far away. I've amped it a bit make them louder and removed some bass rumble. We actually had lions walk through and roar (!) in our camp one night! unfortunately i didn't have my recorder running then. It was deafeningly loud! next time!.

This was an earlier recording of my beloved baby sister susanna (rip) as she dedicated to help me a while back using her beautiful voice to make my intros as well help other dj's to be inspired to use her voice. In this sound track, someone is handling a bag of crisps with strong intent on making rumple noises. The motion is holding and folding the bag of crisps. The sounds has a metallic quality to it, the motion is done at random. Useful for sample slicing. It is recorded with a simple tie microphone and then edited on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. I think this could work with a few other small animals but a mouse comes to mind when i hear this. If you are gonna use this please comment or link me to what you are gonna use it for.

An mp3 recording of a blood-curdling scream which slightly reverberates. Made by me screaming into the piano while holding down the pedal, which makes the notes vibrate in tune with the voice. I took the audio of this robin chirping from a video i was making in our rural garden. I could see a robin singing away high up in an oak tree across the road from our house. I have taken out some of the neighbourhood noise but apart from that this is the audio directly off the cam corder.

This sound was recorded in a forested area called lot 2, a low lying floodplain in the town of coffs harbour. It might be bulldozed to make land room for houses. One sample run through lots of effects, but a large part of the sound is made by running the sample at really fast repetitions, so fast it just becomes a tone. That and making the sound repeat in fractions (?) or something like that. Like one trigger is 5 times and then the next is 3 times in the same space of time. Etc. Created by mangling a sample in reaper's js scripting language.

It is full-automatic action, and you can hear splat the shutter makes, motor-driven film winding-up, and slight harmonics its aluminum chassis plays.
