This is a sound effect that i manifested from the dream state of maine in the united states kingdom. I took a clip from the audio i recorded of wax paper crinkling, cut a segment from it, played it backwards, put it on loop, layered it with the original, and this is what i got. There is an somewhat syncopated pattern to the sounds, but the audio is cut off before it makes a full cycle. Enjoy.

Instead, i decided to experiment with an existing file, and use parts of it to make a similarly sounding dialog audio. (this was engineered using 131658__bertrof__game-sound-selection. Some interesting play with noise, filter, pulse width and the internal spring reverb of the synthesizer. Recorded through an ssl superanalogue preamplifier at line level, uad-2 apollo 8 adc. No eq, no compression. Mono file, 24 bit 48 khz.

I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. Hammer hitting a nail: in this sound you hear a metal hammer hitting a metal nail into a slab of wood, creating a harsh sounding sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. A high shelf and a band was added to the sound to make the hammer hitting the nail more clear. The hammer used was 2kg hammer and the nail was 5 cm long nail and the wood was a piece of eucalyptus tree wood.
