Took a sample from a video of a friend saying "this is the pwngene's house" (pwngene/eugene/ug was his online moniker and the video was him showing his apartment) and edited it to say "this is house". But i never did anything with it. Mostly cause my own stuff isn't true house music.

Qrm listened in am mode on 80 m band in my qth jn79ek. If i use cw mode listening and narrow filter, the qrm is mostly worse. Strength: peaks s9+40 db. Sometimes any traffic impossible. From -41st sec. Of record is possible to heard my tuning around frequency.

Raw unedited recording of harsh metallic tinking sounds caused by a hot metal plate being hit by water droplets. The plate was hot enough to induce a leidenfrost effect preventing most of the water from boiling and sizzling away leaving mostly the impact sounds.

I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. This one is an attempt to replicate the ww2 enfield bolt action rifle the british used through world war 1 all the way to world war two and is even still used in some paramilitaries today. I used mostly recordings of the actual enfield rifle and just stacked them together, processed them with eq and multiband compression and several transient designers to bring out the snap and attached a reverb tail to it. Made this in ableton live.

Icicles occasionally break off concave cliff face in the sun; cliff reflects sound from behind recorder of people walking by on stanley park seawall, bicyclists, snippets of conversation. Light breeze riffles the ocean behind (mostly unheard). 3:26 with fade-in and fade-out.

All samples are stereo(48khz24bitflac), since the sound of the kick naturally leaks in the overheads and the overheads are a big part of the snare sound.
