A set of variations of a scary soundscape. May come in handy if you find an alien artifact and you want to show it on youtube and need some acoustic colours for it. Entirely made on a pc with software. No mic or instrument used. Most of the software i used for this is available for free. Mainly used: antopya, chimera and the alchemy player. .

This is around 10 minutes of a hand drum groove at 113 bpm, but there are many little random variations, so you can chop it up and loop just the bits you like, or let the little drum section play as you tie up your man bun, kick your hackey sack and shake your money maker around the drum circle.

I was looking around for dialog audio similar to those in rpg games or platformers like "shantae", but was out of luck. Instead, i decided to experiment with an existing file, and use parts of it to make a similarly sounding dialog audio. (this was engineered using 131658__bertrof__game-sound-selection. Bowling: here we have the sounds of a bowling ball hitting the pins in a bowling alley. Not only do you hear the loud crash when contact is being made by the ball but you also hear the pins scatter. The origin of this recording is a hob on the highest heat level recording slightly hot. Be very careful if you are doing this as fire is obviously detrimental to organic life and the microphone does not like to be on fire. An "acidized" (marked with loop/cue flags) sample. I imagine a furnace combusting away. Rate-shifting this sample (pitch/speed) can give you variations in your daw (digital audio workstation). This sample in particular feels appropriate for use as a background furnace sound or if sped up, a flamethrower.

This sound is a mix of analog sound and digitally created sound. I recorded the sound of a coffee machine. Then on audacity, i generated a tone and modified its envelope. I changed the levels, added effects as reverberation and echo. I put melted at opening and closing in purpose to pretend something was taking off and landing. At first i wanted to create the atmosphere of a spaceship. But after that it looked more like a vacuum noise. I tried to modify amplification and added again echo and reverberation to make it sound more like a weird ufo.
