Another fm synthesis experiment. The name tells you what it was meant to sound like. You tell me if it was anywhere near close.

A brief ui sound i am using, maybe you can use it too.

User name fmagrao's sound 80761__fmagrao__siren was stretched, put in a sampler and played as described but of varying duration and it would appear that there is an optimum frequency range for these sirens. I will create a lower frequency version in due course and a foghorn/siren hybrid. A plunger stuck to the floor and pulled away.

Microphone feedback of varying lengths. Made by jamming earphone bud into the recorder's microphone with varying pressure, then cleaning out low end rumbling. Recorder: sony pcm-d100.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.
