This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up. So i put my recorder in the drawer and leaned. This is the result: four squeaks of unparalleled irritation. I hope you can find a use for this in your projects.
The wooden door to my edit suite has a nice creak. Recorded on a zoom h1 with the xy built in mics. Several takes of the door opening and closing. Stereo, pcm, 44. 1khz, 16 bit.
A sound i created using the sound "old door 5", (http://www. Freesound. Org/people/robinhood76/sounds/81286/,) proccessed through a handy dandy bit of free software called "soundmorpher". I proccessed a drum loop through the old door sound, and here's what i got. Get soundmorpher today at http://www. Elisanet. Fi/victorx/soundmorpher. Htm. Made with soundmorpher.
A recording of someone opening a door and forcefully closing it, either out of carelessness or anger. I have left a large amount of blank space in between the opening and closing of the door so that if you want to have it, it is there. But it can always be taken out.
Portland, or trimet bus pulling away from curb and taking off down the road. Recorded using a sony shotgun mic with a minidisc capturing device in 2000.
I thought i would see how many sounds i could get out of my sound buzz. Wav, so i took that click at the end, added reverb and slowed it down about -81 percent. Made with audacity.
Stereo file, wave 44100/16 bit. A sequence of two door closures of my car (vw polo 2009) in my box. The sound is very deep and undiscounted. . . Recorded with zoom h4n. Ciao.
Garage door closing, electric motor, single garage. Edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).
