In the beginning of spring rain and snow was falling in the mountains, but the birds chirped in about 1000 meters above sealevel. Recorded with tascam dr-100.

While staying in the cuyabeno jungle in the amazon basin of ecuador, i took a walk one afternoon into the jungle just as it started to rain. Armed with my minidisk recorder i sat for as long as i could to get this recording.

Heavy rain while i was standing under a marquee next to a busstop, you can hear cars passing by. In the end the rain weakens. Recorded with an iphone 5c.

I was doing some field recording and it so happen that when i was out and about we had hail storm so i recorded from the start to finish. Whew! almost got hit by a hail stone as big as a pingpong ball. Yes, it was that big my car has dent all over, not good aye!.

Today, i was wake up in 6:45 am in morning. My mom going texas children hospital to flu shot for covid-19. My mom bought me blueberry muffin,my sister chocolate muffin and my mom bread. My mom going home depot and kroger. My mom buys cheese, lettuce, tomato and chips for nachos. I ate nachos. I was full. At 2:45 pm, i hear rain and loud thunderstorms. I recorded on my phone.

A door is unlocked and opened to the sound of a moderate rain. It is then closed again and there is a short period of the rain sound continuing, only muffled by the closed door.

Let me join 'thunder club. ' gray sky suddenly turned to be wild, and began to roar. I hastily connected a mic (ae5100) into fr-2, and recorded it. By the way, sound of thunder is one of the most difficult sources of all, i guess.

Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. It was raining today and i heard the frogs, decided to record some ambience. So it's just the rain on the street outside my house with the occasional gray tree frog mating call going on too. Recorded with a roland r-05. I placed it under my pickup truck on a very rainy day. The sound of rainfall has a little bit of a metallic sound as the rain hits my truck. There is also a river-flowing kind of sound as this street floods in heavy rain, and the water runs from the street into a storm drain right beside my driveway. Various vehicles occasionally pass by.
