This was created by accident while trying to make engine noises. I can't remember the base sample but it's lost in the mix underneath reverb and other effects that create something that sounds to me like the interior of a helicopter. I hope that's useful to someone.

Sci-fi communications 2recorded from a circuit bent randomly modified casio ctk811 via the line out into a spirit folio mixer and m300 tc electronics processor and recorded at 24bit/96khz on a tascam dr60mk2. Edited and normalised in sound forge 13.

A 2 note sequence i recorded from behringers crave (sequence is programmed on the crave) inot logic. I played with the filter cutoff manually while recording. Just recorded not edited.

Another drone sound i created on the microfreak. I used the superwave oscillator and modulated the filter cutoff. Recorded to logic via a yamaha mixer and the ur22 mk1.

Coffee shop ambience recording. Loopable. Crowd can be heard talking but the individual words are not audible. Blender and coffee machine can be heard. Recorded indoors at a street side coffee shop so slight traffic can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h6 recorder. Loud atmospheric and noisy ambience.

I'm trying hard to learn/understand nlc genie. Bought the module 3rd hand. . . At least. Trying to replicate the sounds from andrews demo videos are to learn. 2 tri lfos to in1/2 and in2/3. Out- to wave folder and out+ to cv in on vco. The bass drum like sound is another story. But modulated by a nlc sloth. . .

I started recording a vinyl lp into my computer before realising that i hadn’t set the anti-skate properly and the needle was stuck in the lead-in groove. I trimmed this bit of snap crackle n’ pop and kept it in the hope that it might be useful for me or anyone else. Have fun.

Bits of broken glass being scraped and cracked against various surfaces. Can be hard to listen to at times. Use in a scary movie or anywhere you need a disturbing, uneasy effect.

Does it sound like falling? maybe falling into nothing. Weird strange ambient with a sort of bounce to it.

Field recording of diamond lake a few hours before a storm hit that forced all boats to dock. This is in late may of 2022. On a hike at the north end of the lake, i stood at the edge of the water and held my recorder close to the growing waves.

For this sound i make a sawtooth tone with a wah wah effect and then i add a phaser to make this spawning sound. To make this sound more sci-fi, i chose to add some reverb to create more space around the sound and a fade out at the end.

Turn your volume down before this starts! a 15 minute white noise continuous wave, generated using audacity. Sorry about the loud start. I've uploaded a quiet start one as well.

The recording is partially ruined by wind (i forgot the windshield. . . ) but interesting anyway. . . When the wind is picking up you can hear water droplets falling from the trees around you.
