Sounds recorded by me for my previous indie film. Weapons are live and firing blanks from different locations as part of the movie making process. Various echoes and other sound qualities reflect where the shooter is compared to the sound recorder. Sounds with street echo are particularly useful in sound design of street shootouts with automatic weapons. Weapon id: heckler & koch mp5a3 - 9mm.

Fast train passing, approx less than 3m away from track with tascam dr-05. This is a good recording although:i was glad to find a place to record a passing train without any kind of other disturbing noise and people! but i was really p. . . Off when right after the train passed an older guy with his bicycle stopped right beside me (you can hear him braking and stopping) "are you recording?" - "no, i´m just here planning a train robbery. . . ". .

Could be a mine cart or something. Unprocessed. Loop able. Lo-fi.

I tried to originally make the sound of a train speeding up in an 8-bit style, but it sounded more like the sound guardian scouts make in "the legend of zelda: breath of the wild" when they charge up their laser, so i renamed the sound. Since this is not a rip from the actual game, feel free to use it for any purpose!. Made using beepbox. Co.

Travelling from prospect park to parkside station in flatbush, brooklyn. Train is almost empty, no passengers talking. Audio starts in the car, announcements are heard. Upon arrival at parkside, recording transitions to outside the train. It hisses and pulls away from station. Recorded with an iphone 11.

Recording of parakeets being loud in springfield park in easy london at 7:30am in november. This was an unintentional recording as i was testing out some new gear, this meant that i wasn't able to unclip the mics from my rucksack straps and avoid picking up the rustle of my clothes and some breathing. A train and canal boat engines can be heard in the background. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. An eastern-european musician playing guitar in a paris subway train. I was on my way to downtown paris when this guy started singing for money. I chose to record the scene because i thought this was a typical parisian soundscape, something parisian subway users experiment every day, and a real insight on how this city actually sounds. I happened to be sitting in one of these new line 5 trains. I think theyre audio footprint is much smoother than the old trains. . . Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.

This is an ambient sound effect traveling on the subway system in madrid at 11:30am, september 2019. The recording is on the platform, then boards, and exits the train; the train then departs and there is a period of platform ambience. Recorded with shure mv88 in mid-side, converted to stereo.

A diesel train flushing out the condensation from a particular valve, as i am told. Sounds like electricity sparking or something. It was quite loud, my gain was set extremely low, enough that i didn't pick up any of the road traffic with cars passing a few feet behind me. It's a long recording of a train moving by with few other noises in bg.

It's recording of a passenger train's on duty. You can hear the train's motors, the wheels rumbling against the rails, the wagon connectors hitting each other, when the train stops also people chatting. Near the end of the recording the room acoustics change, because a woman entered the area between wagons where i was standing with my recorded pointed down. I was standing in a narrow passage, where two wagons were joined, between two closed slide-doors. She have opened those so the overall sound has radically changed and i decided to end the recording. Through the entire recording the unit is moving forward, decelerating, stopping, staring and accelerating again repeatedly as it travels stopping at several stations. The recording was done with a hand-held zoom h2. Rear mics used pointed to the ground. I was in the loudest area in the whole train. I was using "low" gain (h2 has three mic gain levels to choose from: l/m/h). Viewed and converted to flac using audacity, the file hasn't been altered in any other way. Originally recorded as a 96khz/24-bit stereo wav file.

. . Inside an intercity express (ice) between stuttgart and mannheim, sitting in an almost empty (three passengers) second-class broad-spaced compartment at around 9 pm. After a shaky first minute an even part follows for around 90 seconds. Interrupted by some road holes the steady sound continues, now with the frequency of the engine sound rising until the beginning of the fourth minute. Here the "main part" begins, starting with several moments of acceleration, deceleracion and breaking. From minute 5:15 to 7:35 the train reaches it's peak velocity, with only few bumps. After a short deceleration the train inceases velocity again, reaching a second peak, this time noticeably bumpier. Once in a while you can hear some element of the fitments rattling nervously along the track, depending on the constitution of the railways and the overall situation. During the last two minutes the train keeps on decelerating slowly and continuously until the end. Recorded in stereo with a portable stereo recorder (zoom); enhanced in audacity using a parallel dynamic eq (tdr nova), a compressor (vos density mkiii) and a binaural spacializer (auburn panagement).
