I mixed the splintering of wood with a dull clang of metal on metal to simulate the situation. Recorded with a rode video mic attached to a camera. My first time recording a sound!.

This was originally composed at the keyboard as an improv on multiple tracks. I sped it up to 210 bpm and ran it through the vita virtual synthesizer as "soundtrack percussion", amps off, s and r filters on and lots of delay. A virtual drum loop with a human touch. Heavy beat. War drums 3 is a faster version of this.
