Sword unshealted, different takes, close up, the blade is vibrating. Recorded with stereo xy audiotechnica at822 microphonerecorded on tascam dap148 khz, 16 bits.
This sound is a pitched down recording of a metal knife striking the prongs of a metal fork. I added some reverb and adjusted the eq to make it sound like distant swords striking each other. This was used to simulate the ambient sounds of cutlasses in a pirate battle. In addition to clashing swords, this track could be adjusted to mimic the sounds of a blacksmith working at his anvil or flint and steel in lighting a fire, among other sound effects.
Made in ableton live. Layered together out of various explosions sounds and a kick drum. One sound layer ran through a guitar amp for distortion. Low-fi-ish.
Made in ableton live, layered and processed together and assembled into a loop resembling automatic fire. Couple single shots with minor pitch differences in there for bonus.
A remix of this sound::. Http://freesound. Org/people/bronxio/sounds/239067/. Just cut it perfect to 97 bpm, made it only one bar, then threw a phaser and delay. . . Bam!.
This is made up from sounds from one of my earlier fireworks uploads and was used for background in a battle scene in my sci fi radio sitcom accidentally reckless.
An explosion, blowing very close a "vocal mic: sennheiser md 431", wavelab octavic harmonics, multiband eq to cut all except low-mids, clean comp-wavelab, reverb, reshaping envelope via wavelab button "v".
