This is a recording of an annual fair that occurs in the town i live. I recorded it from my apartment window using a rode nt-1a mic.

In a "tunnel of horrors", or, as it's called in german, in a "geisterbahn" at the "maientage" in berlin-neukölln. Some reactions of the people, like laughing and scared sounds, are audible. Recorded with an iphone 7.

This is a merry go round that was at the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. It was actually specifically called a mary lee we go around, created by a mary lee and her husband in 1919. I’m not sure if the music is similar or the same as the music used when it was made but it seems like if it wasn’t it was made to feel like it could be. There’s music in this recording as well as some people talking in the background.

Walking down a carnival midway and we hear various conversations as we pass, bells ring, and people try their luck at midway games that make various clunks and thuds. A recorded announcement at the duck pond games says "anyone can win a duck. Even you, dad" or something like that. . .

All the rides are working, some early customers are milling around, you can hear german "schlager"-music playing and a spooky voice beckoning people to the haunted house ride.
