It has just turned 12, people all around are shooting off fireworks, including my 12 year old daughter and her pals, whom you can hear on this recording. About a minute into the recording, a rocket is shot off in the near field. Recorded on jan 1st, 2014 at 12:00 am with a zoom h2. These are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

I can't believe i thought this was cool at some point. This is only still up because freesound won't let me delete it for some reason. Check my submissions for a better explosion.
