I composed this out of feeling and added the background violin after. I like the keychange in it. I'm a producer but wasn't really sure what to do with it after so i uploaded it here. As i often grab some of my files from here as well. Enjoy!. Let me know if and where you use it, i would love to know.

This sound i made with a python script. The script simulates a 2d-network of 13x13 identical masses connected with springs. I 'feed' one mass in a corner of the network with a 'chirp' of 400-2000 hz for one second and the system resonates at its characteristic frequencies. I 'listen' to the resonating system in the adjacent corner. The decay of the sound was build in, but the last half second i edited the volume to zero. The code took a few hours to execute. You may want to change the picture of this sound to the frequency-domain. Yo! awesome! nerd-pride! :-).

Near where i do many of my favorite nature recordings there are train tracks which can ocassionally be very busy -- and yes, sometimes they have interfered with some of my nature recordings. But, recently i recorded the sound of the approaching train carrying loads of coal. It was around dusk and breezy -- melancholy combination. . . . I really love the echo of the whistle. . . . And as i listened i could not help but think about 100 years ago when trains were more common, amazing how things change. Well, here it is. Kvgarlic.

A tip from me to you is cut the bassline in pieces, explore all the locations where you can use for start a song. . . Use short parts of the bassline and use stretch and pitch techniques. Just explore and imagines freaky ways of change small samplers to a big and nice bassline! :d.

A short sound effect of something bouncing. It could possibly be used as a fun sound effect for a program menu when you click a button or a screen changes. It kind of sounds like a membrane bouncing. Enjoy, and thanks for listening - i'd love to hear what you think!. P. S. I request that all my sound effects only be used for clean, appropriate media and projects. Thanks!.

It's recording of a passenger train's on duty. You can hear the train's motors, the wheels rumbling against the rails, the wagon connectors hitting each other, when the train stops also people chatting. Near the end of the recording the room acoustics change, because a woman entered the area between wagons where i was standing with my recorded pointed down. I was standing in a narrow passage, where two wagons were joined, between two closed slide-doors. She have opened those so the overall sound has radically changed and i decided to end the recording. Through the entire recording the unit is moving forward, decelerating, stopping, staring and accelerating again repeatedly as it travels stopping at several stations. The recording was done with a hand-held zoom h2. Rear mics used pointed to the ground. I was in the loudest area in the whole train. I was using "low" gain (h2 has three mic gain levels to choose from: l/m/h). Viewed and converted to flac using audacity, the file hasn't been altered in any other way. Originally recorded as a 96khz/24-bit stereo wav file.

This is an aif (garage band) file of just good ol' tape hiss recorded from a jvc tape machine (cassette). It's just tape hiss. You can change the freq to help blend it in your recordings. I have the volume on this at a higher level. When i blend this with my digital recordings i turn it down just enough to hear it without it being too analog sounding. Hope you can use it. It's great for soft passes and solo instruments, much like white noise of a studio perhaps.

Variation of the loop from:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/maxndee/sounds/106962/. Placed each hit on beat of 125, then put it through a saw tooth transformer, then slight reverb and compression. Other little details like raising one side by 2 decibels to even things out. Also, arranged the rhythm according to a phrase i thought made some more sense, added a couple of variation percs of my own to fill in the gaps. Put either a different eq on them or changed the pitch. Enjoy.

You can change the file as mix, like nightcore version, child version, chorus version, funny man version, etc. In my christmas game, i need voice for my 5 little angels sing for hints( that's the reason why i only sing 5 music notes), just edit the file from each part!. Here, i tried to represent the rain with a thunderstorm in the background, a sound that can be used in a thriller, drama or other movies. To the sound of the rain i generated "white noise", amplitude to 1. Then, i changed the acute and bass across the track to show some instability of the rain. To highlight the suddenness of the rain, i put a fade in during the first 5 seconds with a reverberation from 6 to 50s to make a natural sound. Finally, i added a track recorded of a storm with -9db for the storm and + 11db for the rain.

[ticking_timer_05_sec. Wav]. Bomb explosion!. I searched and dug for some time - until i found this useful sound:. * "explosion_01. Wav" by tommccann (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-06-15]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/tommccann/sounds/235968/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/. I downloaded this, cleaned it, and made lots of other changes (lots of details!), made lots of improvements - and finally remastered this. Then i used one of the matrixxx-bomb explosion sounds and placed it on top of this one! i mixed these sounds to make it even more epic!. I could've made lots of more changes, and made it even more dramatic, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. It was much about planning, knowing what sounds to use, and how to use the different sounds, timing, and creating anticipation and tension!. If you enjoyed the sound, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

This is a section of the pack with 50 bass drum varieties. Most of them are just minor changes and they resemble extremely "similar" sounds however they're based on different wave forms which are mixed together to form varieties. Other parameters were mashed, some may have distortions some may not. All the sounds you hear are synthesized. Generally these sounds are for dance music, some of them are well suited for more experimental music as well. But it should not be limited to just techno or trance. . . .

Really simple patch. Cv from nlc sloth to quantizer (doepfer a-156), via attenuverter. Triggers from doepfer a-160(161). But a tone is only generated if there is a change in cv from sloth. Its not 100% generative :-) first there is no cv connected to the oscillators. I connect them one at a time. The noise is also controlled by the same sloth. The analog delay is connected to barton musical circuits (bmc) 4 quadrant multiplier and panner acting as a panner, controlled by nlc jerk off (still a sick name on a great module). The ehh drum sound is generated by bmc decaying analog noise.

Recorded from the window of my attic flat in walkley bank, sheffield. This is the moment of new year's day 2021. You can hear a small amount of children in the background and one child suddenly shouting "happy new year" and scaring the bejesus out of me at about 3 minutes. I change position at 1 minute 30 (pretty much climbing entirely out of the window) and you get a much more impressive surround sound feel after that. There's also a huge explosion right at the end that is definitely worth waiting for.

A recording of my mini-fridge that i split into two components - the hum (this) and the evaporator thing that makes all the drippy sounds. I separated them so people can change the volume of each element, since i noticed with my fridge that you can only really hear the hum if you're really close, but hear the drippy sounds from quite a distance away, even if they're really quiet. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro, used rx7 to separate the elements. As always, i've got the un-modified loop in my "raw recordings" pack.

Of course he changed his tune, but i was already headed for the stairs. Yep. Sure did. I didn’t step outside, though. Figured it was safer to let ‘em in…. Here’s a quick tip: when you’re holding the little computer thingie and signing, your hands are occupied. The thing kept rejecting my signature. Like, five times. Also if the package is on the floor, how you pick it up calls for considered forethought. I'd already sidestepped, um, all of that. Since when do two guys deliver one package?.

A very peaceful, melancholy soundscape i recorded on labor day weekend in some woods, about 20 feet from a popular lake in the midwest. There was a small cove in between my setup and several campers across the way. . . They undoubtedly were enjoying one last time with nature starting to change from summer to autumn. The main sound is that of insects, not sure what the species is, but, they have a beautiful, drowsy "tick-tick-tick" sound that repeats. . . To me, this sound signals the very subtle, almost imperceptible march towards the autumn equinox. I swear, the longer you listen to this captivating insect, you're drawn into, almost like a hypnosis state of reflection. . . A couple things to listen for:(1) around 1:13 a very low splash. (2) at 1:38 a lone goose honks. (3) starting at 2:30 some very low volume, muted camper conversations. (4) at 2:36 a louder splash. (5) 2:41 more beautiful, un-hurried muted camper conversations. No doubt talking about how they need to break camp and return to the real world, but the "tick-tick-tick" of the insects have a strong hold on them. No, stay a little while longer; have another cup of coffee, talk about your accomplishments over the past summer,. This was recorded around 10am on sunday morning, september 6th, 2020 in illinois. Mixpre-6 audio recorder and the sennheiser mkh 416 microphone. Enjoy this audio snap-shot of the natural world winding down summer!.

Bit of the score from a government educational film entitled "injected water protected water," available from archive. Org under the cc 1. 0 license. Conveniently, the soundtrack of this little beauty was dual mono with one track for dialog and one track for this fantastically awful score. I simply cut up the track into individual cues. All the level changes, abrupt endings, bad edits, etc. Are all native to the original material. For the original film in all of its early 90's vhs glory, go here: http://www. Archive. Ambient recording of the courtyard in my apartment complex. The are two story brick buildings, next to a main road, border-line highway. The traffic light means that the birds and neighbor's dog start predominant, then are taken over by the rush of traffic as the light changes to green. A sunny day, but clouds are in the distance, as an impending storm is about to roll in. The whining dog seems to share his sentiment about the dark clouds. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy adapter set to 120 degree spread. Set up through a wide open window as to cut down on wind noise.

Made from taking two large atx (the form factor, the chassis) computer panels (that i havent used in quite some time), rubbing the entirety of them together quite brashly (one is on the ground), keeping the recorder on xy setup in my other hand in unison then dropping them onto each other. Inside of reaper, i begin changing the rate and pitching them down and applied saturation, distortion and reverberation gave them a very clean effect of a decrepit gate shutting down. Good for trapping your enemies in a battle to the death for which the title is inspired from; one of those tension moments a person in a film/game finds themselves in.

A late summer soundscape that is a favorite of mine. . Microphones set up in some mature woods about 60 feet from a large lake on labor day weekend. Most of the background is the insects, which are very obvious during this time of year. The swelling of their volume is nap-inducing (*at least to me in my opinion. )here is the midwest this swelling and subsiding of the insect wave tells me that summer is just about starting to go back downhill, after a feverish peak. Despite the covid-19 of the year, nature does not seem to have changed her soundscape. Life goes on in the forests. The birds, whose job of raising young is over, are still there. . . They're just resting and relaxing and listening to the insects as well i'm sure. Now of course you will hear a few prominent birds in this captured moment:(1) a great blue heron squawks out starting at 1:17 into this piece. (2) the alarm call of a red-headed woodpecker can be heard at 2:14. Other than that, just the insects singing their hearts out and the assortment of birds taking secondary place during this time of year. This was recorded on sunday september 6th 2020 at 8:30 in the morning in the forest in southern illinois. Equipment: zoom f4, microphone: sennheiser mkh 8060. Enjoy this audio snapshot of the subdued -- yet vibrant - sound color of late summer, finding comfort in the fact that, within four weeks, the colors of the leaves will be changing to oranges and reds and yellows. But, for now, there is still life to live in the insect and bird world.

Example 12 from Stockhausen's article "… wie die Zeit vergeht …", illustrating with a version of the series from Gruppen fur drei Orchester that, "if you start from the intervals of a proportion series, then with every step forward the register of each duration is also already chosen" (Stockhausen 1963b, 117). There are "a number of basic durations, indicated in metronome marks and corresponding with the pitch proportions within the series, reaching far as the octave positions (basic duration units)" (Leeuw 2005, 174), or "a duration scale which changes its 'time register' … corresponds to a twelve-tone scale that extends over more than one octave" (Misch 1998, 157–58).

Virgo, the virgin. I searched and dug for some time - until i found this useful sound:. * "hum. Wav" by alucardsbride (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-07-06]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/alucardsbride/sounds/193938/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/. I downloaded this, cut it down - and finally made lots of improvements. I could've made lots of more changes, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. It was much about planning and knowing what sound(s) / section(s) to use!. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

Here is a recording taken from a boardwalk running through a swamp in jackson county illinois. Recorded on friday september 23 2022 as the season of autumn begins to stir. By now the neo-tropical warblers and other migrants are gone. Leaving the woodpeckers and blue jays and crows. A reflective ambiance of a now dry swamp, slowing down awaiting the arrival of full-on autumn, then winter. You hear the wind sifting through the branches of the oaks, and hickories and maples, the chattering of woodpeckers, and, since this is the time of year of the harvest, you hear the often dropping of acorns, and hickory nuts, and pieces of hickory nuts and acorns, as the squirrels 30 feet above the swamp get sloppy with their lunch. Equipment: zoom f4microphones: neumann km 184rode nt5sennheiser mkh 8070.

A set of orchestral hits with different instrumentations. The chord c major is played. A: full orchestra with cymbals and bells (*1)b: full orchestra without cymbals and bellsc: no untuned percussiond: col legno strings (*2)e: no woodwindsf: no brassg: no percussionh: only brass & percussioni: only woodwinds and percussionj: only strings and percussionk: only col legno strings and percussionl: only strings and woodwindsm: only strings and brass. (*1) the cymbals tend to sound weird when you change the pitch (in my opinion) so all other samples don't use them. (*2) col legno is when the strings are hit with the wooden back of the bow. These are very dry samples with no additional reverb or any other processing.
