It was created in audacity, using a chirp from from a2 to g3, then using phaser, echo and tremolo effects to create the end result. Finally, it was normalized to -8db. Hope you enjoy!.

This is a creepy sound i created by loading few megabytes of /dev/urandom to audacity as gsm 6. 10 raw data. I also added some wahwah and slowdown to make it sound even more weird.
This is what background noise sounds like when you, first set your recording to automatically reduce noise, except to get this sound, put mic on sensitive, then increase the volume. Voila! computer noise!.
