Has a bit of the 'decimate' bitcrusher (sylenths', and i also added a bass amp in logic to fatten the sound up, its played in g. I always name my loops with the first letter on its key hence the name ghost chord=) , and is a loop made at 128bpm. Feel free to use it in any of your works + more importantly let me know why you like it?i take quite some time into adding details in my sounds. I find making a loop can be very good for tuning your ears & production techniques, because like an artist if your painting something small u add a lot more detail. This sound here was designed using the sound of myself snapping and then heavily processing using fl-studio 20. The bpm of this sample is 140bpm.

Thunder strike for the master degree in video games of university of málaga (uma). There is a rainy ambience filtered with a hpf before the thunder sound. For the thunder there are 3 parts: a metallic whoosh, the impact and a shock wave.

Created for a trailer for a film. I used a grandfather clock for the main ticking of the hands but layered and added other sounds such as a heartbeat, hall kick drum with reverb and synthesis techniques. Please note: the ticking by note be in sync if you use and a countdown image i had to move the ticks to accommodate the wall clock i was working with due to the ticks where not always in time.

Several years back my older brother stumbled upon a bunch of old family reel to reel films and sat down one evening to project them on a wall and digitize them. This is the sound of that process. What you can hear, i imagine, is the noise of the projector in the left channel and the sound of the reels in the right channel. I've been obsessed with the sounds of the infinite variation in old analog hardware. As a sound designer, that infinite variation is often sought after but rarely, or accurately, reproduced through digital files in various libraries. Of if they are, they're often too short to cover whatever scene i am trying to fill. On the surface it's just noise but if you listen closer it's this wonderful cacophony of overlapping and repeating sounds that are always looping but never quite identical on each rotation. It was ripped from youtube using audio hijack at 48khz/16bit, but due to youtube re-encoding things as youtube does, it's nowhere near the source. It's still, in my opinion, a sound worth sharing. Reverbed drums for a fight scene made with ableton and omnisphere 2. Made some sounds for a film i worked on. Thought i should share since i use so many of the sounds from this website. =).

Recorded at ableton live, using old tx81z synth from yamaha + boss digital delay dd7 messing around with feedbacks and time creating tape like fx.

This was hard to create i used many different types of doors for the close including hatches, fridges, cars, large and small. I layered them with a stretched air effect to indicate pressure.

Like the door open but things are not reversed. Air affect is placed in front not behind for release of pressure.

sigil reel 2: percussion. Created by nathan moody, formatted for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. This is one of two morphagene reels made from one-of-a-kind handmade electro-acoustic instruments and found objects created by sound designer and musician nathan moody, an outgrowth of his 2018 album, "the right side of mystery. ". This reel is focused on percussive, inharmonic content from found objects and one-of-a-kind handmade instruments including metal table tops, perforated steel gongs, stretched springs, steel tubes, a drum made from packing tape, shakers made of tin cat food lids, and much more. They were struck with rubber mallets, carbon fiber rods, drumsticks, and woolen tympani mallets. They were recorded with a variety of microphones (sennheiser mkh50, dpa 4061, audio-technica at4050, shure sm57 and beta 52a), through awtac channel amplifier and neve 511 preamps. The hits are gritty, raw, and harmonically complex often with long decays, holding up well to varispeed manipulation, decay-tail looping, and filtering.
