This is a real recording of a shooting that happened right outside my house, i managed to get a clean recording of one of the shots that happened, i hope for the very best who got involved as i currently know nothing about what happened. . .

Tried to find a similar effect here without finding one, so i had to make it myself. It was made in an interesting way; i spat in a toilet (and recorded it). Then i added some nice reverb, and viola.

I recorded this muezzin during my stay in abu dhabi. It was the mosque close to the hotel i stayed in. It is the noon-time-prayer. Abu dhabi has a lot of hihgrisers. Recorded under a long, dark, low bridge on my local canal. Me laughing. Slowed by 5% in audacity. The result? -a chilling, maniacal, evil laugh. Recorded late at night in fog - so it felt scary even to us. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. It was saved. . . But nothing can save you! "muh, muh, muh ha ha haaaaa!".

I only use a triple osc and i took an advantage of the several asio bugs of my soundcard. I don't mix the sound. I've re-recorded that shape 17 times, after that, i applied massive echo and reverb filters. 3 osc, echo, reverb, compressor. For this record, i've deleted the major part of the notes. Some new settings of the echo filter, are applied.

Sounds generated by assigning the "wave out" or "line out" signal of the soundcard to a track in fl, and turnin it up. This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.

I wrote and designed this little "abstract-piano" piece exclusively for thefreesoundproject. Haven't seen too many abstract-type piano sounds out there, maybe i'm just weird like that, lol. . Merry christmas & a happy new year to all - 2007!.

A lone american robin can be heard, it's call echoing in a haunting fashion in the quiet neighbourhood. Recorded at 4:30am in toronto, ontario, on may 3rd 2020.

Ran my original sample thru rc20, tweaked some knobs, added eq for the lofi touch. I believe i used my personal rc20 preset to give it the crunch. I followed up with this resample using my lotus echo pad.

When my laptop battery is full and the charger cable is plugged in, my microphone makes a weird buzzing noise. I recorded this and slowed it down and altered the pitch a little bit and here you go. Comment if you use it.
