The cry of a red-shouldered hawk flying slow figure eights over a lake in mid-winter. Recorded on sunday january 22nd, 2017 using the sound devices 702 with two sennheiser me66s.
I threw together a bunch of freesounds to create a rainforest with a babbling brook for use in my mp3 alarm clock. I figured i'd pop it up here for all to enjoy.

Bonfire night march in lewes, england. Lots of crowds shouting at the locals who dress up in period costume and burn effigies of the pope and political figures.
I narrate my own audiobooks and stuff, and sometimes i gotta burp, so i figured i'd keep them in case i needed them for cartoons or anything like that.

This is just a basic beep from a phone. I guess i figured freesound didn't have enough beeps, so i uploaded this. I believe it is in c#, but there is a possibility i am mistaken.
My cat runs over to me to be petted but then acts all irritated that i'm petting her. So i stop. And she demands to be petted more. I can't figure her out.
A vocal i made for something that i could not figure out how to make the song, so, i am thinking of something. A little melodic but also harmonic too, at the same time.
This is a mustang airplane flying loop sound i made for a game i was making. I figured i would share the sound with everyone here. Enjoy!~~~http://rickyvb. Webs. Com/.
Couldn't find the dry puff sound i was looking for so i did a quick recording. Figured someone might find it useful!. Originally created for my podcast here:www. Divecloudcast. Com.
Lol i know i have a lot of these. . . I narrate audiobooks and stuff that i've written, and i figure, ya know, since i got them, why not keep them for cartoons or something? no two belches are exactly the same!.
Caught a heavy downpour while at home and figured i'd capture it for posterity. The recording features rumbling thunder, an ambulance in the distance and a piston airplane flying over. The storm gradually drops in intensity.
I recently erased a cassette tape with my panasonic cassette dictation machine that previously had audio on it, i noticed that it had a white noise after doing so, i figured i would upload it.

I'm talented with mechanical things, oddly, and therefore must be careful about modifications to toys. Took a while to figure out how to get the damned thing off of him. . .
This was recorded with an h6 zoom recorder in zita park. I did this by dropping batteries on a metal covering, figured it could be used as some sort of impact sound.
Just some random skate sounds made with different parts of the blade. Some deep edges, scrapes, scratches, skids, toe picks, stamps etc. . . Solo skating in an empty rink.
I was trying to make noise with a dog toy by blowing through it when i gagged. The gag sounded better than the actual blowing so i figured i'd share it with you. Sound recorded with an mxl v63m mic with adobe audition 1. 5.
This recording was made in vogelenzang, the netherlands, at sunrise on pentecost sunday 2013. Vogelenzang translated into english is, "birds song" - go figure! this recording was made using a zoom h4 resting on the ground.
A recording of my puppy whining, recorded with a zoom h4n. I placed him a dark room with the door cracked and he eventually figured out he could just push the door open.

I recorded this back in 2008 for this little video: http://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=aebqkdwpuj4it's not amazing or anything, but i figured that somebody out there may have some use for it somewhere. If not, then oh well, i was only 12 when i recorded it.
Made this by shaking some coins, spinning some coins and taking advantage of a squeaky door on my desk. Processed through paulstretch. The result turned out pretty interesting so i figured i would upload it here.
I really couldn't figure out how to describe this. There must be an industry standard description for what i'm calling a diminishing reverb. It was the metal funnel in a stove top espresso maker as it was rolling on a tile counter and got got in the tile grooves.
Random bass hits. I made a bunch of these and only ended up using two. So i figured people on here might put them to better use. No need to credit me but i wouldn't mind hearing what you make with it.
I generated a sort of a bassdrum with https://donald82. Kapsi. Fi/services/wave_generator. Cgi i used this formula: cos(200000/(x+1117)). Not going to use that anywhere but i figured someone else might want to. Or maybe someone else want to generate their own bassdrum :).
A sound of a pull-down map being rolled up. Couldn't find one, so i'd figure i'd help out other people and upload it myself. Thanks for listening. No attribution needed.
A kitesurf wing is flyling in figure eight. The wing is sliding over the air, the mechanism of ropes is sqealing. Faraway voices sometimes. Arcachon, france, 2021. Recorded with schoeps msrecorded on sounddevice 633stereo wave, 24 bits, 48khz.
This is a short, squeaky sound which fits perfect to a growing plant or tuberous nose. Made with audacity and two gum balls and a rubber simpsons figure.
This is a train whistling sound i made with my hands. I've used free sound so much i figured i could contribute some how. You can use this as a sound effect as you see fit.
Country, four small dogs barking, heavy, close-up, village, poland. Stereo mixdown of an ms recording, using sennheiser 416 (m) and some small diaphragm figure of 8 akg.
We got wood brought to our house from our woodman, and we brought a few armloads inside because we are already building fires. In the middle of the night, the woodbin started to make a strange noise. I figured it is some sort of bark chewing insect, but i have not seen it yet.
Car door recorded with a zoom h3-vr in ambix. Recorded on 11. 03. 2021. Still trying to figure out whether i should keep this recorder. Cut in ocenaudio. Would love to hear what you're using it for. :).
Country, four small dogs barking, heavy, close-up, very close, village, poland. Stereo mixdown of an ms recording, using sennheiser 416 (m) and some small diaphragm figure of 8 akg.
Droning sounds created by rubbing a string against my acoustic guitar in an open tuning. There's some plucking at the end but that's kind of random. I figured i should start uploading some of the more interesting things i have since i've used a lot of material from this website without really contributing to it at all.
Had to make some sounds of scuffing pine needles for my short film. I couldn't find any on here that matched the clip i shot so i had to create my own. I figured i would share this sound with you to use. Enjoy.
