Sounds of a modded danelectro 59'er guitar. 3 pickups, 2 dynamic levels. Some extraneous sounds are left in, and can be faded/cut out or included to make the sampled playing more realistic.

This is a single guitar string plucked with a pick directly at the headstock, that means between the tuners and the nut. There the string is very short and tight, resulting in a high, almost piano-like tone. Also, since there is no sound box, the tone is rather quiet. I used this for a sampler and i liked the sound of it. This is the raw recording. If you want to use it in a sampler too, i recommend adding some eq, reverb and maybe some delay. It is not perfectly in tune though, the closest note is a#. You might tweak the tuning a little bit when using it in combination with other tuned instruments. Microphone: akg perception 120post-processing: none.

Recorded with my squier telecaster and squire mini-bass through the focusrite interface into reaper. A nod to kenny gioia for the reaper tips. The guitar was sent through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting. Also added a pitch change to compliment some of the guitar parts. The bass was double tracked for better sound. Bass amp is a behringer bxl1800. Comments welcome. Bartolome calatayud was born in 1882 on the island of mallorca, received in 1899 the diploma of honor 1st class granted by the workers instructive center palma for his "superior musical knowledge in guitar playing". Although less famous in the classical guitar world, bartolome calatayud has left much enjoyable and exciting music written for classical guitarists of all abilities. He taught many pupils in majorca during his final years. He died in 1973 at the age of 91.

This is my baritone guitar, with a mute under the strings at the bridge, to give it a percussive distorted sound. I've played a scale so it can be used as a samplepack.

A kalimba\toy piano like sound obtained by stucking a piece of metallic string between the actual guitar strings (at the bridge), so having that typical short sustain; i've recorded using a di box and a samson co2 next to the guitar strings. Inspired by a youtube video by dan phelps.

The instrument was a 1928 gibson l3. There are no effects. Key is (in order of best fit) d major, f# minor, e minor, g major, a blues. Time signature is 3/4, but these samples are mainly under a bar so can be used in a 4/4 song. This is a simple loop of me playing some nice triplet delay textures on guitar. This is a stereo file with 2 guitars panned on the right and left, playing the same pattern in different octaves, offering a nice atmosphere. This was recorded with a hagstrom f200p (awesome p90 style pickups) on a voxac15, using a boss dd7 for the delay and a beheringer reverb unit (yeah, i love the lo-fi sound of that cheap box!).

Sound is a bit of prepared guitar. . . The strings had some "twistie-ties" on them, and they were scraped/bowed with a screw driver near the bridge. Guitar was processed with delay, and i believe maybe some other effects. Sounds, at times, similar to a droning sitar.
